March Madness

The next couple of months will be jam packed with events and students will be traveling far across the country for events.
On March 20th, select students from the science club will be traveling to the National Science Fair in Albuquerque, New Mexico to see how other students in the country explore their love of science.
Also, the underclassmen from the boys basketball team will be going to the Denver Nuggets basketball game on March 23rd against the Sacramento Kings. The underclassmen are getting the chance of a lifetime to play on the hardwood of the Pepsi Center during the halftime of the game.
On Wednesday March 12th, the juniors from St. Thomas More are coming to Red Cloud for an all day student exchange. In April, the Red Cloud juniors will be going to their school.
The all-school mass has been changed from April 4th to March 27th in order to have the mass before Easter break.
Russ Cournoyer will be taking five Red Cloud students to the Badlands Youth Camp from March 18th-21st. Russ and the students will be braving the Badlands and learning firsthand about the land.
The freshmen class are hosting a Mardi Gras dance in the Cuny Commons on March 21st. After that on the 25th of March, Student Activities Director Carla Jasso is going to have a spring pep rally for the track team and girls golf as they start the season.
The Senior Retreat is tentatively scheduled for April 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The retreat will be at Storm Mountain as the seniors start getting ready for their last couple weeks together. They will be taking on the new challenges of life with graduation right around the corner.
Lastly, prom will be on Saturday, April 20th. Post prom will be at the Roosevelt Ice Skating arena in Rapid City right after prom ends.
