Give Blood, Save a Life

Red Cloud students and faculty
volunteered to give their blood to save lives last Friday in Eben Hall.
Sister Connie Schmidt of the Spiritual Formation Department organized the
Blood Drive. The United Blood Services
from Rapid City come to Red Cloud once in the fall and again in the spring.
27 students from the high school signed up to donate. Faculty members also donated- 58 people donated blood in all. “It’s a good day to answer the call to
serve the greater community by donating blood,” said Sister Connie.

Connie said she had received an email from the United Blood Service that because of the bombing in Boston, people should really
donate blood to help people that had blood injuries.
