Seniors Bond for the Last Time
By Sierra Concha '13
Seniors
are finally back in school this week after three full days of bonding
and activities at their retreat at Storm Mountain from April 3rd to 5th. The retreat consisted of an
ongoing kickball game, intense ping pong tournaments and incredible
memories created.
“It
was amazing,” Jasa Flanigan ‘13 said. “I loved bonding with my class.”
Students shared laughter and tears as we strengthened our friendships
amongst each other. Many students are grateful for this retreat,
especially Dominic Pilcher ‘13 who discovered his new passion while on
retreat. “My favorite part of retreat was playing ping pong,” he stated.
However, it wasn’t all fun and games. There was a prayer walk at
Devil’s Tower that consumed most of Thursday. The class prayed together
for the intimidating yet exciting future that lies ahead for the class of
2013.
The Senior retreat was unforgettable. In the midst of all the activities and laughter, the Seniors became a family.
