Blue Out White Out

Red Cloud High School has always been known for the incredible support group that follows the teams to every game. Our students are proud to say they can take over any gym, no matter where the game is. This upcoming Tuesday, our entire student body will be dressed in blue for the intense game the boy’s basketball team is about to play against one of our school’s rivals, St. Thomas More. Every year STM has had an incredibly talented team, and this year is no different. Red Cloud has been on an impressive winning streak and now has a 13-2 record. The varsity boys call each other family, and that’s exactly how they act on the court as well. They’re unselfish with the ball and quick on their feet as they successfully perform each play with intensity. It will be a tough battle, but Sader Nation has faith in our boys.

That isn’t the end of the list of exciting games next week. The varsity girls will also be playing against STM on Friday at our gym. The entire school plans on wearing white for this game, and we hope the families and faculty will as well. The girls have been practicing hard, and the determination in these girls will be hard to overcome. STM has a great team this year, but so do we. This will be a game you won’t want to miss. Both Red Cloud basketball teams have been surprising many doubters throughout the season. They both started out with a purpose, to prove they have the talent and perseverance to succeed in every game they play.
