Teacher Profile: Pat McElwee

Patrick McElwee is a first year teacher at Red Cloud High School. Mr. McElwee was born and raised in the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Pius XI High school in Milwaukee, where he participated in track and tennis. Patrick also played the banjo. He used to go sit in local places and entertain his community. 

Patrick kicked his academic studies into gear when college came near. McElwee attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he finished with a 3.7 GPA and earned his degree in History Education. He is also certified to teach Government and Economics.

“Before coming to Red Cloud, I didn’t think that the school would be as modern as it is,” said McElwee. Patrick has many goals for his stay at Red Cloud. “I want to learn different teaching techniques, how to improve my teaching skills, and hopefully make a few a good friends along the way," said McElwee.
